Seven Years of Building, Learning and Impact
Founded in 2019, Ramjas Consulting Society began as a Training and Development Wing focused on bridging academic learning with professional exposure. Over seven years, RCS has evolved into a student led consulting society spanning consulting, research, training and industry engagement.
From its early training initiatives to 50+ live consulting projects, 350+ national case competition podium finishes, 20,000+ professionals reached through its publications and 1,000+ students trained through the Fellowship, RCS has steadily expanded its work and reach.
Today, RCS continues its founding mission under the leadership of Presidents Devavrat Pant and Piyush Gandhi, creating opportunities for students to learn through real problems and build beyond the classroom.

Who We Are
Ramjas Consulting Society is a student run consulting society at Ramjas College, University of Delhi, built around one idea: students learn best when they are trusted with real problems. What began with a 15 member team has grown into a community of 50+ active consultants and 150+ alumni, with work spanning consulting, finance, research, publications, competitions and professional development.

Our Story
How RCS evolved from a student initiative into a serious consulting institution.
RCS began in 2019 as a Training and Development Wing at Ramjas College, focused on building consulting and problem solving capabilities among students. Over its early years, the initiative grew into the Ramjas Consulting Society, laying the foundation for a student led consulting community.
RCS expanded beyond training into live consulting engagements across business transformation, market entry and startup analysis. In 2022–23, the society completed 6 live projects with 4 more ongoing, while recording 50+ national podium finishes. This period also saw the launch of the first RCS Casebook, marking the beginning of its publication portfolio.
RCS continued to expand its consulting and knowledge ecosystem, completing 31 projects cumulatively, building a community of 90+ consultants and 150+ alumni, and crossing 300 national podium finishes. The society also developed knowledge partnerships with organisations including PwC, Zerodha, Frost & Sullivan and Cars24.
RCS delivered 12 live projects during the year and expanded its intellectual portfolio with the M&A Playbook in February 2026 and the 4th Edition of the Guesstimate Book in March. Together, these publications featured 10+ M&A deals and 50+ structured guesstimates, reaching 20k+ professionals.
The sixth edition of Consultanza recorded 3,000+ registrations, with marquee competitions partnered by organisations including Grant Thornton and EaseMyTrip.

Consultanza has grown into the flagship annual consulting festival of RCS, bringing together students from colleges across India to compete, learn and engage with real business problems. The sixth edition recorded 3,000+ registrations and featured three major competitions.

Orientation & Induction
The journey begins with an introduction to the work, culture and opportunities at RCS. The 2026 to 27 orientation drew 650+ attendees, followed by 500+ applications and a highly selective recruitment process.
RCS Fellowship 4.0
A 4 to 5 week learning programme covering data analytics, Excel, financial modelling and case solving. More than 1,000 students at Ramjas College have gone through the Fellowship.
School Fellowship & Olympiad
RCS extends its learning initiatives beyond the college through consulting fundamentals, case frameworks, guesstimates and structured problem solving for school students. The latest programme recorded 300+ registrations.
